Sponsor a childs education for a year

WHY?

Africa's problems seem so overwhelming, but I think, the only way to make a difference in this world is to focus on one small thing that is easily achievable. If everyone does that, then one small difference becomes a big difference. By sponsoring one child for a year to education could lead to that child becoming a doctor or the scientist who saves the world and puts an end to global warming or to starvation.

£35 per year

To fund a child at Hope nursery school for one year will cost £35. For this you will recieve details of the chosen child, such as a description of their background and family situation. Then you will recieve a photo and at least one report from his or her teacher during the year about their progress. Confidentiality of the sponsors contact details will be maintained and all correspondence between the sponsor and child will be through the school. This is to protect both parties. However if the sponsor wishes the family of the child to have direct contact then the sponsor can request in writing that his/ her details be released to the family of the child. The child will be selected by the school administrator from the waiting list of children who require sponsorship in order to come to Hope.The administrator, Mr Kajue, will use his discretion to choose the child fairly according to the childs needs,age and position on the list.
